Planning questions we expect.
H&K Drone Services is building its 2027 priority list now. Every paid application will be completed under the required credentials, insurance, product label, and field-specific operating plan.
Who supplies the chemical or dry product?+
The customer or agronomy partner supplies the approved, labeled product. H&K mixes and loads it on the trailer according to the label for aerial application, then provides the field planning, application service, and application record.
Who supplies the water?+
H&K coordinates the clean water needed for mixing. When practical, we may use a farmer-approved high-flow source at or near the field; otherwise, we obtain water from an approved utility filling location. We confirm source permission, flow rate, water quality, refill access, and trailer staging before the job.
Will you apply fungicides, insecticides, and herbicides?+
Yes—when the product label permits aerial application and the product, carrier rate, field, weather, and surrounding crops are a responsible fit. Each job is reviewed individually, and H&K may recommend different timing or decline an application when label or drift conditions are not acceptable.
Are liquid applications limited to 2–3 GPA?+
No. Carrier volume is reviewed for the product, crop, coverage target, and field. We quote the work around the product label, application plan, and refill logistics.
How far will you travel?+
Our home base is in Northern Indiana. We will travel farther when acreage, timing, and route density make the job practical. Send the field location and estimated acres for a custom review.
Why use a drone instead of a ground rig?+
A drone can enter wet, soft, irregular, obstructed, or late-season fields without wheel tracks or crop trampling. It is also useful for small blocks and time-sensitive work where a large ground rig is a poor fit.
Are you accepting 2027 work now?+
We are building a priority acreage list for the 2027 spray season. Submitting a field does not create a service contract; it starts a planning conversation and helps us schedule capacity.
